The Dunstan Group
From First Impressions to Ones That Last
The project:
Build and execute a marketing and branding strategy for a logo’d merchandise and apparel businesses that’s solid on relationships. In an environment where price is always part of the conversation, how can we differentiate The Dunstan Group brand by emphasizing service, creativity, and community?
The opportunity:
That’s right! We’re doing “marketing” for a marketing company! Our charge was to take their industry email and other outgoing marketing materials and turn them into product that accurately reflects on the impact they’ve made on the client’s project, event, show, or overall brand.
The Dunstan Group works with businesses big and small, major league sports teams, trade shows, performing arts troupes, restaurants, industry, not-for-profits, and nearly everything in between. They produce a seemingly endless array of products and apparel. Each one has a place in a brand’s marketing strategy, and each one of them has a story.
The goods:
Sure, The Dunstan Group makes t-shirts. But opportunities for branding and marketing go way beyond tees and caps. Our headline, From First Impressions to Ones That Last, became the umbrella for The Dunstan Group Brand, and gave well-run media the space to showcase how The Dunstan Group’s work through its client success stories.
True, some people may only respond to the lowest price, but don’t most of us feel better about doing business with folks who’ve worked with a brand we know, in a familiar industry, with a community partner or not-for-profit? Through Through the Dunstan Group’s email and social media channels, we’re connecting current and would-be clients with marketing success stories, and building a portfolio of real life case studies that back up the industry sales stats. Shared over social media, linked to participating brands and clients; it’s trackable and measurable, too. Content that lasts like this goes further than any “ad” ever could. Now that’s how to make a lasting impression!
What they said:
“No one can do it all and and some of the most successful business leaders posses the great trait of identifying, recruiting and surrounding themselves with talent. Our team at The Dunstan Group understood that we were lacking in staying in touch with clients through email, social media, blogging, website layout, the like. We loved Well Run’s energy and professionalism and value the marketing know how they bring to the table. Since we partnered we’ve never looked back and now absolutely view them as an extension of our team and brand. They treat us this way as well so its one big happy relationship! They are all about understanding our mission, they listen and they perform. We look forward to many more years of working together.”
